Dr. Buzz Raymond has invested in technology that assists him in bringing you the most effective dental care possible.  Technology, while important, is only a portion of what creates successful patient outcomes.  Advanced technology is most useful when coupled with an understanding of the patient’s needs and desires.  We use technology as an extension of our treatment philosophy, to create a convenient and comprehensive plan designed uniquely for you.

Here are ways that we utilize technology to improve your smile:

Digital photography

Digital photos have become almost as important of a diagnostic tool as X-rays.  “A picture is worth a thousand words” has never been truer than with digital photography in dentistry.  If you desire, seeing your own photos is very enlightening for understanding the health and condition of your own mouth.  Digital photography aides Dr. Buzz in your treatment planning and can also show your oral health improvements.

Porcelain oven

The dental office of Dr. Buzz Raymond is one of the few in Minnesota that has a computerized porcelain oven as part of his in-office laboratory. This technology means individualized color, and shading changes can be made in-office to porcelain crowns, rather than returning them to his lab artist.  The porcelain oven allows Dr. Buzz to be extra fussy so the appearance of your crowns blends seamlessly into your smile.  That means fewer appointments for you, as subtle alterations can be accomplished during the same appointment.

Compliance consultant

In order to provide the best and safest environment possible, we have an ongoing contract with a special compliance consultant who frequently reviews our office for safety and OSHA compliance.  She regularly updates us with regards to the newest and most current county, state, and federal regulations.  Because of ever-changing laws and regulations, Dr. Raymond believes investing in special monitoring by an independent consultant makes his practice a safer and healthier place.
